In My Top 5 for Best Food In the Area. From pizza to apps to entrees, every item on the menu is awesome. I know and appreciate a good meal. The atmosphere is well designed too.

That said, the Mad Moose should focus on establishing itself predominately as a restaurant---more generous seating and arrangement. They seem to be pushing for pub appeal and that's a mistake. Mad Moose is trying to compete with Dillinger's when it's more of a Lost Dog Cafe.

DO NOT GO THERE!. DO NOT GO THERE, unless you want to be insulted by the Operations Manager, Brian Wachsman! Our group was looking forward to a nice early dinner at 4 pm for Boss's Day. Reservations had been made for 11 people 3 weeks earlier. I was nice enough to call the day before and confirm for 11 people, and to let Brian know we had people going out of town and we would be ordering right away. When we arrived at 4:10 they were not ready for us. The table they expected us to sit at was really made for 8 people. When I brought this to Brian's attention and explained that we didn't think it was our responsibility to have to figure it out on our own, he argued with me. He continued to argue with me about it and eventually raised his voice and said, "you're lucky I don't tell you to take a hike!" A co-worker of mine got tired of listening to him debate me on the seating and said, "there won't be a next time". He replied with a threatening, "that's not really something you should tell someone who's about to serve you food." So now we're thinking our food will be spit on. INCREDIBLE! If we weren't in a hurry we definitely would have walked. It's such a shame that Brian is so short tempered and short-sighted. When you insult 11 people during a special occassion, in professional jobs, with spouses, children and friends, it tends to have a ripple effect. What could have been 20-40 repeat customers will now be a big fat ZERO. Nice goin' Brian. I would not even give it 1 star except a rating of some kind is required on this site.

Weird Place. I've been there 3 times and have never been served, everytime we waited around on average 5-15 minutes before leaving.

we were in there on a night when there was about 4 people at the bar besides us and we waited a good 10 minutes and the bartender walked past us 4 times and never even gave us the time of day. there were times he was cleaning the bar and killing time, like he was purposely ignoring us.

riiiiiiight....

3 strikes and I'm not going back.
