Horrible Experience!. Feb. 5,2009 Went with 5 friends to J Michaels. There was only one waitress working. My salad had huge chunks of iceberg lettuce which had dark brown spots on it. We waited well over 1 1/2 hrs. for our food. My seafood pasta dish was cooked El Dante, which does not mean raw. I couldn't get my fork into the broccoli and the pasta was so bad it was almost crunchy. The dish was also tasteless The waitress tried to help by taking it back, but the cook yelled at the waitress saying , "It's El Dante!" He obviously doesn't know how to cook! The dish was not cheap and I ended up throwing it away. The food was unacceptable, customer service non existent. I think they should be reported to the Better B------s B-----!

inconsistant. On two occasions I had meals that should never have come out of the kitchen. One pasta dish was missing the chicken and th other dish was chicken parm that was burned ! I gave this 2 stars only because I like their chocolate cake.

The best veal dishes and most authentic Italian food in the area.. J. Michael's restaurant is absolutely the BEST authentic Italian food in the triple cities. I find the service is excellent, they are very accommodating to their customers, and the ambience is wonderful. The food is consistently good; the best veal dishes in the area and the prices are reasonable. Not only is the entree menu extensive, their appetizers are excellent as well; the best grilled pizza I've ever had. Their tomato sauce is perfection - not too sweet or spicy but is a perfect blend. Very few restaurants can make good meatballs in bulk, but J. Michael's are the very best. I always find the restaurant and the ladies' restroom very clean. I'm very grateful that they are in downtown Binghamton. Parking is plentiful; street, ramp, and Metro Center parking available. Please don't change a thing!

Never the same way twice!. I have been five times and I ordered the same thing all five times. And all five times my meal was different.I still have yet to find out what Its supposed to taste like. And given there track record I never will! And the last time I was there I saw an enormous ********* running across the wall ! That did it for me ! I can handle bad service, and low quality food ! But I don't do *********!

Bad Odor!. the smell of the Bathrooms made it impossible to enjoy my meal. It was very embarrasing because i had recomended we eat there! That was the last time for me!

Very bad service, And cold food,Dark and gloomy!. My experience at J Michael's was so bad that it was hard to hold back my laughter! One mistake after another. When i asked to speak to the manager my server informed me that she was the manager!Pitiful! I will never go there again!

Great food, great atomosphere.. Friendly waitstaff and delicious Italian cuisine. Best-kept secret in downtown Binghamton.
