SWEET..@!;. went with the guys for the restaurant week thing got the big apple loved it servers were cute food was good beer was good and college girls across the room were nice too, pretty busy will go back also liked the hummus stuff

excellent food and top service. I came here on a whim several weeks ago. I have been back at least once a week since!! Insanely large portions. The price is incredible - makes 'forgetting to pack a lunch' desirable. Where can you get service, great food and a place that seems to remember you ... in Binghamton... only at Argo! The servers, not many that I have encountered, but all excellent. One, don't know her name but has an accent, seems to remember what I like to drink and has it in minutes recommends items now that she knows what I like and has never set me on a bad path. The chef/owner comes around to check on the customers himself, I don't think I can remember when this has happened to me before. Usually owners go to one maybe two tables of their 'upper' clients or their friends. My new place .... Argo!!!!!

After reading some of these reviews... they have either made some drastic changes or these other people were not at this same restaurant!!!!!!! keep it up Argo!

Where To Go For Lunch!. We eat workday lunch at the Argo at least a 3-4 times a week and just keep coming back.

Portions are generous, insanely inexpensive -- specials are usually $5-6 for a large entree -- and everything is delicious. We cannot resist having a cup of soup as well: rich and homemade, the best we've ever had in a restaurant.

We would also recommend the Argo Greek Salad -- huge, piled high with fresh salad vegetables, giant chunks of feta, lots of olives, and finally, slices of excellent marinated grilled chicken.

The family that runs the Argo is fun and friendly, always part of the attraction. Just thought it was time to give them a big public thumbs up.

Oh, even the coffee is really good!

youll love it. went there the other day with friends for lunch and had mom beef stew which was tremendouse* and so was the blueberry pie, you got to try it out them kids are working hard.

Excellent Food.. Giant size portions.. great prices.... Stopped in since no one else was open down town. Thought We'd grab a sandwich or something light. The menu offers REAL Greek food at a phenomenal price!! We ordered moussaka and gyro wrap. My hats off to all the owners and employees, you won us over. Doubt that we'll even look for another place to stop. Dreamy desserts made fresh in store not bought and brought in.

Good if you want to feel sick.. Stopped here with my boyfriend in the midst of a road trip when other places were closed. I wish we had kept driving. The outdated decor complete with burned out light bulbs on the chandeliers should have been warning that something was wrong, but in need of a meal, we stayed. Perhaps when rolls were served with packets of melted, rancid appearing butter, that should have been the end of our visit. But we stayed for the rest of the meal, which consisted of very lackluster food that proceeded to make us sick (read in need of bathroom stops) within half an hour of getting on the road. Avoid!!

Good for coffee or more. Me and my friend Jim head there regularly, the staff is pleasant, the prices are okay, the portions are fair, the potatoes were real but old..... The food was over all good, service overall great, overall experience 4/5

R U SERIOUS!!!. FOOD IS ALWAYS A GREAT PORTION BUT WHY WOULDNT IT BE ITS ON THE EDGE OF SPOILING OR TASTE LIKE GARBAGE THERE IS NO CONSISTANCY IN WAIT STAFF EVERYONE WHO WORKS THERE IS MISERABLE THEY R ALWAYS ANGRY AT THE OWNER AND IT REFLECTS ONTO THE CUSTOMERS SURE THE PLACE IS CLEAN AND BRIGHT BUT AS I SIT ON THE COUNTER DRINKING MY COFFEE THEY MAKE THE EMPLOYEES WINDEX EVERYTHING ITS FUNNY AS I SIT THERE I WATCHED 3 DIFFERANT SERVERS WINDEX THE SAME DESSERT COOLER AND ONE AFTER THE OTHER I DO NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE BUT THEY CAME TO ME COMPLAINING ABOUT THE JOB, THE OWNERS, THE OWNERS CHILDREN, HEY I JUST CAME IN FOR A CUP OF COFFEE, I HAVE MY OWN PROBLEMS. I TRY NOT TO RESPOND TO THE EMPLOYEES BECAUSE WHEN I LOOK UP FROM MY CUP TO THE OWNER HE IS GIVING ME DIRTY LOOKS I TURN AND LOOK IN THE OTHER DIRECTION AND THE OWNERS WIFE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS READY TO CHEW ME UP AND TOSS ME OUT I FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE I ASSUME THEY REMEMBER ME FROM THE LAST VISIT WHEN I PAID FOR MY SPOILED FOOD BUT MADE SURE I BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION I WASNT GONNA GIVE UP ON THEM AFTER ALL EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES BUT AFTER THIS VISIT IM SORRY TO SAY ITS OVER FOR ME GOOD LUCK TO THE EMPLOYEES OF THE ARGO YOUR GOING TO NEED IT AS FOR THE OWNERS IVE BEEN TOLD ATTICA IS LOOKING FOR A NEW WARDEN SOME OF MY REVIEW HAD TO ALTERED DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU CAN NOT USE SOME WORDS WORDS OF TRUTH!

BEAUTIFUL ARGO'S AND BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. AGAIN, W/ A FRIEND,I WAS TAKEN TO THE ARGO FOR DINNER! I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF FOOD SERVED AND THE AMOUNT!

THE SERVICE WAS THE BEST IN TOWN..THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE THE BEST!

the worst place ever... went there for dinner on a friday.. we should have known it was going to be gross considering there was no other people in there.. Food was horrible .. the fish was spoiled and the "lamb" looked like it came from a can.. it was one for the worst places we have ever been too..
