Ehh...

I went to Jo Ann's Bridal for a prom dress last spring. while I did find my dress there and it was a reasonable price, their selection of gowns was lacking. The majority of th dresses were bridal gowns, but even those looked dated and last season. As well, the dresses that I had to look through were all kept in a dirty, unfinished back storeroom. The dressing room was barely big enough for me to fit in, let alone my dress as well. The woman that was working there was helpful though. I wouldn't go back, except I recently learned that it has been bought by the owner of The Wedding Works in Endicott. I have bought several dresses from them, and am planning to go back when I buy my wedding dress. the owners are so friendly and knowledgable, and when the dress I wanted wasnt available in my size off-the-rack, she pulled out several catalogs to see if she could order a new one in my size. If the owners of The Wedding Works are going to be working their magic on Jo Ann's, it should be a wonderful bridal shop in no time.
- Pros: Not any really... the dress I got was nice enough but it wasn't anything special..
- Cons: Hard to find, terrible hours, dirty.. the list goes on.
