Great New York style pizza. A friend of mine turned me onto them recently and hooked ever since. I recommend the chicken parm sub and the white garlic pizza.

Friendly staff. I met my son, a SUNY Binghamton student, there for lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised. Great food, comfortable atmosphere, and very low prices. I had the calzoni(it was huge) with a side of the best sauce this side of Italy all for only $5.50. Unbelievable! The owners run the place and were as accommodating and friendly as could be, nice atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and try the dinner menu. They had some great looking veal dishes.

Best Italian Dining in Binghamton. Forget the Olive Garden - that commercial food cannot even begin to compare to the food at Grotta Azzurra! A family-owned and run Italian restaurant for almost twenty five years, Grotta Azzurra has options for anyone's palate, including a very large vegetarian section. When I went there with my sister, we shared plates of Stuffed Rigatoni & homemade Manicotti. Words can't explain how authentic and delicious this food was - we thought that our grandmother had somehow made it into the kitchen of Grotta Azzurra and cooked for us. This is a must-visit restaurant in Binghamton.

A warm, unique Sicialian / Binghamton experience. This restaurant was one of the few restaurants open in downtown Binghamton on a Sunday. The decor was adorable, various memorabilia from Sicily and photos of patrons enjoying the restaurant over the year. The owner, Joe, both cooked and served our food. We chatted in Italian, as he is from Sicily, and gave us free canolis at the end of the meal. The food was great also; I had the stuffed rigatoni. Joe also gave us a salad with sliced strawberries. I had a wonderful time!!
