Jeff instructed my 15 hour driving lessons package. He was both firm and friendly. He never lost his temper, was always fun to drive with and at the same time a great instructor. We went over all aspects of the driving test and I just blindly followed his instructions at the test. It worked out great - he took a chap who had never driven in his life, and made him pass the road test very comfortably (90 on 100). Being in a small town, one gets used to fairly lousy customer service. Southern Tier was a rare winner. Scheduling lessons was a breeze and they always tried to adjust if you needed to change day/time.

Attended 5 hour driving course with them. The class was supposed to begin at 5.00PM at Ramada inn Ithaca. The instructor did not turn up, and when we called up, they were rude and said someone is the way. The fellow arrived by 5.30PM. He went of talking till 10.30PM (as if he was revengful) and said that the class by law is supposed to be for 5 hours!!!!!. Okay thats the law, but listening to such bland talk for 5 hours from that fellow was a nightmare. He went on and on repeating the same thing. I went for this school, because they offered a $5 discount coupon. But now I really regret doing so.
