I would like for the Great Bend Post Office to remain open like it used to be. Why My mom lives in walking distance to it. It is helpful to the elderly and disabled persons. Not every one uses a computer. Some like me still do it the by mail. The post office was there before my mom even thought about having me. Closing it would make it feel like I was not home. I to when home use the post office even if it it sometimes is for my mom. I only ask that it stay open and for Great Bend to remain on the map or don't think of it as you have a friend in Great Bend Who would ever know without a zip code. So close it if you wish to hurt others in ways that are no thought to you. Get rid of you have a friend in Great Bend Sign and replace it with I once had my own zip code.I will never call it home again.It won't be home to me.Yes the streets will be there, the chiropractor office,friends homes,parks, stores and a Hallstead post office that you don't expect an elderly person to walk to or the disabled? You can take buildings down, but you can't fix the damage afterward.
